Comments : I'm not certain of the ID on this one, but Point Defiance West
Well is covered with these clams, and the holes they have bored in the
clay substrate. Showing is just the siphon part of the clam (the rest
is in the hole in the clay. The intake side is the side with the fringe
around the inner face of the tube.
