Monterey Dorid
(Archidoris montereyensis)

Image ID: 216-01

Comments : These nudibranchs are very similar in appear to Sea Lemons, however, unlike the Sea Lemon, the black spots on the dorsum cover some of the tubernicles on the Monterey Dorid. This is the first place I have positively ID'd these nudibranchs - right under the dock of God's Pocket Resort. The black spots on this nudibranchs dorsum are not readily evident as it is sporting some fine God's Pocket silt (lint?) on it's back.
