Comments : White Spotted Greenlings are coy fish and can be difficult to
approach, even more so than Kelp Greenling. Catching these fish asleep
at night at Three Tree Point is often the best opportunity I have to
photograph these fish. During daytime dives, I often can not get within
10 feet of these fish without them bolting. However, at night I can
sometimes literally bump into this fish without it moving. White
Spotted Greenlings appear to inhabit eel-grass beds in very shallow
waters (10 to 30 feet deep).
