Comments : This is a shot of two Pacific Staghorns mating in the shallows at Three Tree Point. I was just about to surface when I found these two, and got about three frames of them before I ran out of space on my camera. The female is buried in the sand, and the mail is wrapped around her, fertilizing as she lays eggs. Every once in awhile, the female would spit sand over she and the male (camouflage?). The male twitched every so often, but otherwise they were very still. I watched them for about 5 minutes.
