Comments : Metridium giganteum is one of the most common anemones in the Puget Sound. I have seen two varieties, one that is brilliant white, and one that is bright orange. This is obviously the white variety. That's a friends light up toward the top of the picture, and you can see his blue drysuit on the right if you look hard...
