Comments : These crabs have a rounded carapace, with six long jagged teeth on each side. The surfaces of the crab are covered in bristly hairs. I do not note this crab very often. In fact, this is only the second dive location that I have noted the Helmet Crab. I have also seen them in great abundance at the Shilshole Breakwater.
