Comments : This is one of my favorite fish to see on a dive. I've often found them at the end of the dive in shallow waters in eelgrass beds. You can't see it in this shot, but they have a suction cup on the bottom of their jaw which they use to attach to substrate. I've found them suckered on to rocks, and also free-swimming. Take your picture when they are attached, as once they start swimming, they can be a real pain to get a shot of! A dive with Lumpsucker is always a good dive!
