Comments : One of our favorite creaturs to encounter on a dive is the Opalescent Squid. We never find them on a night dive - they always find us. We usually only see them in the winter when they move into shallower water to breed. For some reason they appear to be attracted to my HID light when I use the video reflector. This one has captured a Tube Snout in the eel-grass at Three Tree Point. It stayed with us for a couple of minutes before abandoning it's quarry and heading off for deeper water. These creatures often seem as curious about us as we do about them.
