Comments : Strange bed-fellows? Painted Greenlings, like most fish, find some cover at night when they "sleep" or go inactive. As this one appears to have settled on a Sea Cucumber for cover. You can see how the Painted Greenling's markings serve as outstanding camouflage against a rocky/silty background.
