Comments : Stubby Squid ghost? Not quite, although it may be scared as white as a sheet. This is the white phase of the squid. I suspect squid use their color like Red Octopus and Giant Pacific Octopus do - for camouflage and to startle and confuse would be predators. This squid was red just moments before.
