Comments : This little red octopus was out hunting, moving slowly along the bottom, and then quickly "tenting" as shown in this photo, and turning white. Giant Pacific Octopus and red octopus hunt roughly the same way, and it is quite a treat to follow at a distance, and watch them. I believe the anemone in the background is a Swimming Anemone (Stomphia coccinea). The flatfish to the left is probably a Rock Sole (Pleuronectes bilineatus).
